OUR STORY
The Cluck we know and love today was hatched in 1988 in Los Angeles. While we have gone through several changes through the years, we have stayed true to our philosophy
of "Better For YouSM" is delicious here! And to being the embodiment of "Life Unfried®."
At Koo Koo Roo, you will find the most crave-able rotisserie, in multiple flavors, and our famous bone-in, skinless charbroiled chicken breast.
We have up scaled our bread offerings to include yummy artisan breads, which contain zero trans fats. And our delicious hot and cold sides rotate
throughout the year to ensure that we continue to offer the freshest, best products available. We are in fact the official home of the ever-so famous Ross Squash!
In case you didn't hear the big news, our family grew during the summer of 2010 when Luby's, a cafeteria chain with 96 locations primarily in Texas,
purchased Fuddruckers and Koo Koo Roo, making us three distinct and unique brands in one large, happy family spread throughout the country. Being from SoCal,
most of you probably haven't heard of Luby's (check out their website to learn more), but they go way back (we're talking over 60 years!) and are a
staple in Texas. Our new parent company is steadfast, committed to our brand and stand by our promise to remain fixated to our roots as THE better-for-you Life Unfried option!
We are VERY proud of our heritage, and most of all, are proud to call SoCal home (it's where we were born and raised!). We don't follow. We were trendsetters in
1988 with our "Life Unfried®" commitment, and we are following our core belief today and will continue to spread the message. You have heard about and maybe
are a healthy success story of which Koo Koo Roo is a part. This excites us. We are YOUR brand. You are what make us strive to continue to be the best. To borrow the quote
